I wanted to share three of my favorite pictures from the past month or so with you. If you want to know what they're all about then you'll just have to call me or email me to find out!

Almost There
So I've taken advantage of my snow days this week and have pursued my counseling license a little harder. It's been four months since my last class, but I got back into the groove pretty easily. I love being able to watch my classes on DVD in double time. My Yankee upbringing helps me to understand fast talking people. Hour long classes will last 30-35 minutes!
My main reason to blog today is to say that my second unit of study is complete! I am 60 hours into the program with 30 hours left to go. After I complete these 30 hours I will be able to apply for a license from the American Association of Christian Counselors. I'm not sure why God has pushed me to pursue this, but part of me thinks it has something to do with Calgary. I'm a counselor by nature and now I'm better equipped from the Christian perspective. I'm excited to finish and will hopefully find the time to do it before a year goes by. This next unit is a focus/specialization on counseling teens so it's right up my area of expertise. Hopefully I'll be blogging soon about completing it!
Random side note: I FINALLY get to see Wicked tomorrow night! I AM SO EXCITED!!!

6 Months...Seriously???
Just a quick blog to shock all of you that I'm actually blogging again. After returning from a life changing trip in Calgary this summer I hit the ground running (literally) with high school volleyball, which led into middle school volleyball, which led into middle school basketball. Add to that the new responsibilities of middle school athletic director (which I'm really starting to enjoy) and just straight up teaching some lovely 8th graders pre-algebra. Hence my 6 month absence. That's not even mentioning the whole applying to be a missionary in Calgary process. Or the pretty severe shoulder injury during high school volleyball. Or the back biopsies and cancer scare. Or just general Procita family fun. Plus the joys (seriously) of driving an activity bus for my teams and for field trips! Not to mention reconnecting with some former students, who I love dearly, pursuing my counseling license, or generally trying to take care of myself. This is all to say that if I blog in the next 6 months, consider yourselves lucky readers. Just as a heads up...I'm warming up to the Facebook idea. May be persuaded to create an account once I'm in my off-season. Have a good'en!
