Power Tool Adventure!

So this clock/radio/CD player was my grand power tool adventure of last weekend. I have been watching for one of these to go on sale pretty much since Christmas. I wanted music in the front half of my house without blasting it from my bedroom on the backside of the house. Now my house is not that large but it was much more convenient to have a radio in the kitchen. This one was on sale AND had a mail in rebate. After thoroughly reading the directions and gathering very much courage, I decided that I was going to attempt to hang it by myself. With much prayer and stubborn determination I set forth to drill holes into my kitchen cabinet. As you can very well see, I was successful (well in three out of the four holes!). I can now enjoy music in my kitchen while I cook and clean. I feel rather accomplished and like Nana said when I told her "Even if you did mess it up, it's on the underside of the cabinet so no one could see it anyways!" She also encouraged me to brave hanging some shelves in my office. "Holes can be filled back in!" she said. I might get brave in the coming weeks with these bookshelves. Dad said I need a stud finder first. My response was if I could find a stud then he could hang it for me! Ha ha ha...you know I'm funny!

If you need a stud finder (the tool, not the man), Brent has two and I could talk him into giving one to you. The reason is that my wonderful father-in-law gave him one for two years in a row at Christmas. He forgot that he had gotten the first one for him.
