Have you seen these things? It's a cross-breed of a goat and a sheep - found in Australia. Pastor George mentioned them in his sermon today. The Christians of the world are sheep and know the shepherd and His voice. The lost souls in the world are goats. His question to the congregation at one point was "How many geeps are filling the pews of our churches?" They know the language of the sheep and can even sound like a sheep, but they are holding on tightly to the goat life-style. That was quite humbling to think about.
There are a few verses to be considered here:Matthew 25:31-33 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left." The rest of this chapter tells of what happens to the sheep and goats. It's a good study if you get the chance.
So where do you stand? On the right with the sheep, on the left with the goats or somewhere in the middle. As Pastor George says, "It's going to be a tough, painful day for the geeps because they will have to be put on one side or the other."
